Well... if we go that way the 737 rest of the SK-group is mainly using isn't much better... the 737 is 3 years younger than the DC-9...

Nothing wrong with the 717, except for lack of commonality with any other airliner, but if KF is only operating one type anyway, that's not a biggie.
