Personally, while I find Priceline to be very useful for Hotels, and fairly useful for car rentals, there is so much uncertainty that I don't use them for flights. I would hate to get a routing with a lengthy layover at inconvenient times, when direct, convenient flights cost only a bit more when booking directly, and Priceline's bidding for flights gives you no control over that.
