I at 1st assumed NC Girl was from North Carolina, but when I read "frigid NC Winters" I realized you must be escaping the other NC - North Churchill Manitoba ! Only polar beers & Eskimos gladly suffer through one. I vote for Sihanoukville Cambodia, a nice beach town where rooms can be had for single digits, beers average $.50, & a fresh barracuda dinner on the beach is $3.00. Plenty of nightlife during the season as it's a favorite of the 'Lonely Planet' crowd. You have to go up N & visit Angkor Wat for 3 or 4 days too. You'll be glad you did. wj
