It seems to me that the CoC might be a bit short sighted.

I can imagine many instances where a business traveler needs to work at a client site in "City A" over a period of two or three weeks, and needs to buy a round trip ticket accordingly. However, while the business traveler is in "City A," it is also necessary to visit another client in "City B" for three days, and buys another round trip ticket from A to B for that purpose. Further, since the business traveler is planning both client visits simultaneously, once both client visits are confirmed, the business traveler purchases both itineraries from DL on the same day.

Doesn't it seem silly of DL to have rules against legitimate business travel such as the above example? If the rules are so onerous, wouldn't DL be potentially losing business to another carrier for the trip from A to B because of fears that buying both itineraries on DL would be a violation of DL rules that MIGHT cause either the cancellation of flights or loss of as much as all accrued mileage in the travelers SkyMiles account if the business traveler is caught by DL for doing something that to most people in the world would seem to be quite innocent and routine?
