I have traveled to several cities in Asia years back staying at IC's or comparable but these were 3-7 day trips. I'm usually not much of a budget traveler but when staying a month, I shall become one out of necessity, LOL

Are these places somewhere it is easy to find a inexpensive month-long rentals via the internet? I looked at Thailand but quickly became completely overwhelmed at all the choices of islands.
