IME, 1:30 is very tight at ATL, but what can you do...

I would stay in 1C, despite the exit probably being from 2L. The limiting factor is not going to be the time it takes you to get from 1C to the luggage belt, but rather the time it takes for your bag to get from the hold to the luggage belt. My guess is that you could be sitting almost anywhere on the plane and still have to wait for the bags.
