Actually if I look at the existing sticky there is a post with links to the most useful threads such as the airline and hotel status match masters. So I think the best solution would be to add a link there.
I am in favor of making it a sticky, b/c of all the ways to earn miles, credit card offers seems to be the easiest. So newcomers will note it. i understand the point of having too many stickies, but considering the significance of credit card offers, I think this should be a sticky.
