Second, I have sent a message to the Mods asking that this thread be stickied. Understandably, they are reluctant to sticky too many threads, since we would end up with two pages full of stickied threads if we stickied every sticky-worthy thread.
If you like, please send a polite request advocating the stickage of this thread. Hopefully, it will either get stickied or a Mod might drop by to inform us of the status.
And, I like saying "sticky" and using it in all of its various forms.

I sent a request to put this in the list of interesting milesbuzz threads. Hope it gets added. But making it a sticky is not enough. One needs to be subscribed to this thread (possible without even posting in here) to know the latest updates.
I have one more request - what does everyone think about avoiding discussions on specific offers in this thread? For example the discussion about the value of a VS mile could be done in the VS thread. That way, this thread has posts about new offers. Most of us are busy and if you are like me, when I check my subscriptions, I never click on many threads b/c I have got what I needed, or I have lost interest in the topic, or the thread has gone OT.
If this thread contains posts on when a new offer is out or why an offer is special, then when those subscribed to it, see it in their subscriptions, they will know there is substantive stuff worth reading and make time for it.
One more note - new offers and/or miles transfer promos are also welcome e.g., the post about the Ritz Carlton credit card is a new announcement (thanks to whoever posted it). If an airline that does not currently have a business credit card (SPG did not have it for a long time) and then launches one, it is also welcome, even if the offer is only for 25K. Similarly the Amex - DL transfer promo or the US hotel points transfer promo (the reason is that SPG is major hotel program and a lot of FTers make the SPG their main credit card, so essential its a transfer of SPG points earned through credit cards to US).
