Hi. What I want to do is book an all inclusive to mexico+ flight via continental on expedia.com. They give u a discount if u book it together. Then within 24 hours I Want to cancel the continental flight portion and keep the hotel. I thought that you used to be able to do that. I called expedia and they said if you call to cancel the flight, they will cancel hotel for you automatically. Alternatively I was thinking of calling continental and trying to cancel the flight, but they told me continental won't let me since I booked it through expedia, I Will have to go through them.

Is this accurate? Is there any way of doing this? Any advice is appreciated.
