Most of the AC inflight crews are pretty good. It's the product that AC is offering their customers that needs fine tuning. The Y seats on some aircrafts are old & crappy with no back support. Meal qualities are hit or miss. I rather not fly than to be stuck in AC Y class for a long haul flight.
I wrote to AC about the blanket issue last year when I was on a LAX-YYZ flight (it was a 767 and freezing) and they didn't have any blankets and refuse to bring me any spare ones from J class. The reason they told me was something like they don't load enough blankets for domestic flights because of loads issue or something like not enough room. {Ya right...)
