How could YuropFlyer have distinguished that? Should we always write "he/she", maybe "it"? Maybe the fact that a woman typing annoyed you so much, that you require compensation from LH, was supposed to be a hint???

I really don't get what you are complaining about. You're behavior reminds me of an incident I had when I was in business school. A guy actually attacked me for typing in class. Apparently he wasn't able to concentrate on the lecture, because I was typing behind him.

Sorry, but there are places you need to accept, that people will be typing. And C class in an airplane is clearly one of them, so deal with it. I also like to sleep during night flights, so I use noise canceling headphones, a pair of eye shades and maybe a glass of red wine. Works like a charm. The trick is not to get your blood pressure up because somebody dares to type or use a night light (it's called night light for a reason).
