One thing I do agree with you but is not completely clear, did you ask the pax to try to lower the noise from typing? I for myself type rather loudly when no one is interrupted by it, but can of course lower the noise if needed (and of course will lower it while in an airplane)

However, there is certainly no way to force someone to type quietly.

You are not reading what I keep repeating:I didn't ask anyone for anything - I don't know how to phrase it in such situations. I was asleep. So was my neighbor (stranger next to me). I don't know if he speaks English, but I did hear him speak German earlier in the flight. We did not communicate with each other. He was awakened as well and he on his own accord went to complain to FA. (I was happy that he did, but unhappy that FA didn't assist "us"). He was in a worst position from me, typist light was on him. Yet, he was considerate toward me w/o me asking and trying not to disturb me.
