For a number of months I have planned a trip to SIN and now is the time that I am actually doing it, on a UA H fare.

Tomorrow I ship out IAD-ATL on UA. I regret that they are apparently giving this route up to UX but for now it is on a mainline Airbus. I have a meeting and then I'm doing ATL-IAD-LAX, where I will overnight with family and then leave at noonish LAX-NRT-SIN. There for the weekend, perhaps two days but one planned now, and then SIN-NRT-SFO-IAD.

I did get UA to kindly split up their LAX-SIN (hidden city NRT) into 2 segments, and thankfully one (NRT-SIN) has cleared for an upgrade into C. So has ATL-IAD-LAX. Waiting for the over-the-water upgrades to clear but expect that at the gate. Otherwise it's economy plus for me!

I am meeting up hopefully with at least one FlyerTalker. I'll file some more details as things progress.
