Just a quick update: Even BN2 did not help with upgrade as expected.
Flying out this weekend with QF Y+ HKG-LHR-BSL-LHR-HKG on recommendation of a friend, which should be better than BA Y+ and still has a similar schedule. Again a non-upgradeable flight according to our corp travel agent. Let's see how that goes.
