Little Fruitcake has often been (very kindly) invited into the cockpit on BA before take off or after landing, without ever asking, after the crew have seen his Skyflyer book for signing. I think this is very nice.

Flight crew have often been very apologetic that they could not ask him in for take off or landing becayse of the CAA rules. I agree that such an experience could be good for someone considering a career in aviation. Whilst it is sad he has missed that opportunity, I also think it is the right thing in all the circumstances. The rule shouldn't be broken for anyone.
