Two weeks ago, I called to purchase a held reservation booked on aa.com, after two attempts to buy online had credit card rejections (for reason unknown). The agent volunteered to waive the phone booking fee.

Last week, I saw the $25 charge on my credit card. I called the reservations line, and after getting transferred a few times eventually got an agent who had to check with her supervisor, but eventually agreed to credit the fee back to the credit card.

A week later, still no credit.

I plan to call back tomorrow to inquire. Can anyone suggest a more direct number to call, to get more quickly to the correct department than going thru reservations again?
