I tried for the 80K match but got turned down. I got the bold ink in early February with 25K promo (spend $5K in 90 days). I sent a message a few days ago regarding a match to the 80K bonus promo. The response was no - the promo was for new accounts only. The CSR gave me 10K as goodwill. I inquired that this was a relatively new account and got a response that Chase tries to match offers within 90 days and there would be no exceptions. CSR confirmed mine was opened 4 months ago. For others, YMMV.
I had been more successful with the Sapphire (opened the same time as Bold) with the 25K promo. I recently got them to match the 50K bonus promo (after several failed attempts). Gotta love FT!
