(Sadly, these two feelings do not collide in my head that rarely.) It's a good eating-at-the-bar spot, for sure.
I wasn't a fan of Masa in NYC, btw, although mostly due to service issues. But based on that experience alone I would never consider setting foot in a Masa restaurant again.
Michael Mina and Le Cirque (both at Bellagio) are two of my favorite restaurants in Vegas; both offer full menus at the bar and have really good bartenders, although check if the prices match your budget. Le Cirque is very pleasant at the bar and offers a warmer, cozier atmosphere than at Michael Mina. Both the regular and relief bartenders are quite personable.
I always want to recommend Julian Serrano at Aria because it's that good, but while doable, tapas aren't as fun with just one person. You could also consider Olives at Bellagio, which used to be one of my favorite bar dining spots, but I haven't been in a while. I do agree with the Bradley Ogden recommendation in that the bar area is quite pleasant, but last time I was there, they did not offer a full menu at the bar.
Thank You. I've heard of most of the restaurants mentioned here, but I'm afraid after looking at some menus they aren't quite in my price range. Would anybody be able to recommend a restaurant where I could get by at the bar for less than $30? Like a bar where I could get an entree for 18-25?
