Worldtrav: A few of points.

1) We all post what we post here at our own peril. If all you want are positive reactions to your TRs, then I suggest you only share them with your parents and your friends. For example, you have criticized my trip report (and I'm not sure, but apparently called me 'a kid?'). So friggin' what? My ego is not so fragile that I cannot take a little criticism. I used to write TRs when interesting things happened. Here's an example. Some people liked 'em, some didnt. So what?

Frankly, by asking for "only positive reactions," you are encouraging negative ones!! People HATE to be thought of as sycophants for having been effusive with praise.

2) I was NOT posting my report as a satire of your reports. That you and others assumed I did is, IMHO, none of my affair.

3) Having said that and after reading your TR about being nervous of arab-looking/speaking security, if you cannot comprehend the inherent ignorance of judging individuals based soley on how they look, well, as someone much wiser then EITHER of us once said,
