Apple now allows you to re-download all previously purchased iTunes music. You just need to download the latest version of iTunes on your new computer (v10.3). When you open iTunes, go to the iTunes Store. Sign in using your Apple ID and click on "purchased." You will see all the music you purchased from iTunes and you can re-download it. I believe video content should be available to re-download after iCloud goes live later this year.
