When does cross program upgrading commence, I recall a United email that it would start this summer which is not far off.

I have 1 CR1 remaining on my United account and I am flying YVR-IAH-TPA on CO Metal on a 016 ticket and would like to apply this last CR1 before the 1K window starts.
