The Arlanda Express pair discount applies for the weekends and -- at least in prior years -- for the better part of the summer, primarily the peak warm-weather travel period for US persons to visit Stockholm (which also happens to covers a bit more than the peak travel period for Swedes to abandon Stockholm).
