Whenever i travel East, i like to get all xfers done at the start of the trip and then arrive at my final destination. I don't like xferring at 6am with wife and 3 kids in tow. I have 5 award tix from FLL-ATL-JFK-ARN then through AMS to Rome and then back to FLL (Aug 8-19 60k mi each). As a Diamond, the family and i were moved to EC automatically, for which i am grateful. I take redeyes all the time form LAX-FLL, its only 4.5 hrs, but even in the exit row, it sux! I would pay whatever it takes to get EC, even on the 757 (with no AVOD).
