Was in row 8 flying LCY-MAD on Monday. At first I thought it was really quiet being seated near the front on engine startup, but then when the cabin air kicked in there was nothing but a noise of blasting compressed air coming from above my window.

It may have been a one-off on the aircraft I was on, but it was really annoying and most noticeable during taxi and the 30min decent to Madrid (maybe because it was de-pressurising).

Like the drone I can't stand from row 11 on the 777, the cabin air noise in row 8 on the ER190 is now one to avoid for me.
