Understand that this is just a temporary solution while we're waiting for NFC to be embedded in our phones. Instead of waiting for that to happen, SK has made sure all systems are in place when phones arrive with NFC.

IMO, the sticker is nothing but a temporary solution...

that is my understanding too... I think that SAS did the right thing with a pragmatic approach that solves the chicken and egg problem: no infrastructure for NFC because no-one has NFC phones, but nobody pushes for NFC phones until there are no uses..
