On my recent CW flight LHR-JFK the afternoon sandwiches were dreadful. The fillings were obviously the cheapest they could lay their hands on and despite claiming to be three different flavours, they all just tasted of watered down sawdust.

The only decent sandwiches I've seen on BA for at least a year were in the Flounge at JFK. They actually were tastier than the CW pre-flight so-called dining, even though that seemed to have improved very slightly.
As for hot towels, I think I've seen about two in my last four CW flights (that's two in total, not two per flight). I presume they're stored in the Club Kitchen which is why the WTP pax end up with most of them.
