The AC threshold bonus system is slightly different from UA & other airlines.

They won't start kicking in until you flew 35K Q miles. You'll get 5K bonus at 35K Q miles, then 10K for every 10K Q miles you fly starting at 50K Q miles. You'll get a free North America long haul Y ticket when you fly 70K Q miles. There are also gift selections at 100K, 150K....
