I am booking a ski trip to SLC this Christmas break and I was wondering how long early season rates are in effect?

Right now the room is $72/night at a Garden Inn, and I want to stay there, but I wanted to be able to have enough cash to cover it in full (aka a paycheck or two away). So in a nutshell... how much longer do I have before the room rate will increase to a normal rate?
