AS Flyer, you got me! All I can report was that the co-pilot did indeed walk through the cabin and look out three different windows on each side of the plane. Almost as soon as he returned to the cockpit, the announcement was made about the "visual inspection showed the snow is gone so we no longer have to wait for de-icing."
