I think we'll end up renting a car after looking at some of the other options. I was hoping to avoid bringing a carseat but the train seemed a bit unmanageable, and the only flights from the Bolzano airport seem to be to and from Rome. We actually can return the car to Grenoble, since Mr. is there for a month. He'll just have to drive back alone. And I'll have to time my trip accordingly.
