they mentioned the FO didn’t end up staying in TUS and was reflowed to cover other flying needs yesterday and they had to deadhead in another FO from IAH who arrived at 10PM (for a 5:30 departure), thus the need for 8 hrs rest and delaying the flight.
How could someone possibly be alert and aware enough to fly a plane with that kind of unexpected turn around?
I'd rather they just cancel flights. This guy must have had, what, 4 hours of sleep? And a super early wakeup? Ugh.
