Use Opera Mini (alternate to Safari browser). Set "mobile view" to off under Settings - that sets the browser to tell the world that you are on a real computer.

Voila! You get the same website as if using your desktop computer. No jail break.

Plus compression proxy to save you bandwidth. That also means you may not be able to access your provider's own website for account information. But there is still Safari.
