It would be easier to make an educated guess if we knew what date you are flying. Sometimes, the 767-223ER is substituted by a 767-323ER, meaning a three class aircraft (F,J, Y) is subbed by a two class aircraft (F,Y). Some might argue the latter is arguably a better product, albeit it is domestic, two class First and not what you paid for (but... unlike domestic 757s, 738s and M80s, the 763 has "Next Generation Business Class" seats that turn into 170 degree reclining beds, etc.)

I've been reading up on the AA lounge rules for a July flight from SFO to JFK (flight 12) so I needed to check my class of ticket (Z class). I noticed that my seats which I chose when I booked in December have been changed to "unassigned" and I cannot choose new ones as they are all showing up as unavailable. After doing some research here, I think this happened after a slight schedule change. I'm nervous that I won't be able to check in online.
Also, should I be preparing myself for a bump down to business class? We have no status at all and we are flying on an Alaska Airlines partner award. Kind of bummed as we are not business travelers and we were really looking forward to flying first class.
