Oh yes they do! A Gold given Platinum status could be flying nearly weekly. In fact, if I didn't do MRs or fly while on vacation, I'd just barely make Gold or would only be a Silver with high rollover and I fly just about every week. Nearly all of my flights are 500 miles or less.
