Although, the domestic fares do need to be booked by the Friday after the email; international fares by Sunday.
I always see three links: Domestic this weekend, Domestic next weekend, and International next weekend. To me, that doesn't need to be improved. Except it would be nice if the "Domestic next weekend" were available for 10 days, instead of going away after 3 days.
I have clicked on NetSaavers only to find that they are more expensive than regular prices, or they save $3-4 each way. That's just irritating.
List a full round trip price. If one can't purchase a one-way trip, then it is disingenuous at best to list a one-way price. In any case, for a last-minute deal, the round trip prices should still be low enough to be appealing.
But the main reason I haven't bough any NetSaavers lately is that either the price is too high (barely competitive with a price I could have booked a month ago) or the destinations are uninteresting. DFW - Shreveport? No thanks.
At least from DFW, I always have a few options - it would really irk me to get an email pointing out that no airports near me had any sale fares, but here is a list of other sale fares to taunt me.
