You're probably comparing everything with the Runnymede

I stayed here on Friday night, and had an entirely adequate experience. The hotel is walkable from the airport (just follow the road out) and there's no real point in bothering with the shuttle unless you have very heavy bags I think.

I was upgraded to a decent-sized deluxe room complete with water, quarter-bottle of wine, bar of chocolate, and so on, despite my My Way being set to points. The welcome letter advised me that Gold/Diamond members can have late-checkout to 2pm on request.

Free in-room internet for Gold/Diamond is wired only. Bed was unremarkable. Breakfast was fine.

Everything else was more or less in line with the usual UK airport Hilton. You arrive on a plane, stay there, and move on the next day, or vice-versa. That is all
