I was under the impression that the CO boarding process is not changing until "later this year." However, my boarding call for BOS-EWR this morning was for uniformed military/UGS (no mention of PPlat), followed by 1K/Platinum. It confused the other elites lined up on the red carpet, and two of us stepped to the left to board when 1K/PE was called.
I don't recall reading in any of the above posts that the elite boarding order on CO had changed.
Both UA and CO's boarding process changed at the same time. The idea was to have a uniform process.
For CO, the change wasn't as drastic -- just a separation of Elite levels -- and reports seem to indicate that a lot of CO GAs are following the old process (Elite free for all).
It's kind of funny that the entire point of this exercise was to create a uniform process, and what's happening now is more variability than ever.
