I stayed here Sept. 10 (think it was during the first month it opened) and similar to your experience I was also upgraded to the Exec floor (paid stay though not reward). Rate was around E 170 for weekend (2 nights) IIRC which I found good value for the quality and service provided.

I remember a very friendly and helpful staff that went out of their way to answer questions and give assistance. I remember the lounge being not very wide, long and empty. Breakfast was good in main restaurant.

Great location as close enough to walk to shops and sights but not in too noisy a location.

Would definitely stay again if in the area. Lovely sized rooms and excellent quality to finish on exec. level.
