My 2 cents after transiting internationally in India a few times:

- VISA regulations are a joke. Generally, you cannot enter the country within 2 months of your prior entry. It is also very hard to get multi-entry visas. Every single country in the world needs a VISA. Come on!

- Getting a VISA for India is an expensive, time consuming and unreliable process.

Although I love the country, the burocracy is just ridiculous. Indian personel working in the embassies abroad must rank about the least friendly in the world.
