Piazza 51 on Sydney Road, about 15 minutes from Queen Vic Market on the #19 tram.

In CBD itself, +39 on Lt Bourke St, which is also very near to Brother Baba Budan - some argue the best coffee in Melbourne, others disagree.

And DOC on Faraday/Drummond St, Carlton; a little way in from Lygon St.

All three of these have Italianos working there - at least it's more authentic(o) than a HK Chinese serving up Jap
