While I wait at train stations and at the airport or while I'm on the train, I'll want to listen to my radio. XM is satellite radio with access to all kinds of commercial-free music, news, and sports (like Major League Baseball). It is also very small in that I can put it in my pocket or attach it to my belt. I don't have a local radio that I can bring with me like that. But yes, in my hotel room, I always put in the local radio. ^
