This makes sense to me---with one clarification: the last time I flew on a CO F saver award flying UA metal I was also on a 757 upguaged to a 777. In that instance in was seated in F. I did like the flight, btw.
That can happen but as others have mention what happened (being seat in business) was the appropriate outcome.
