I think the flight banks at IAH are pretty efficient. 30 minutes is considered a legal connection. If you have luggage that need to be transferred that usually takes longer than the passingers. IAH is large but once you get used to the layout it really only takes about 15 minutes to get from end to end. It helps a lot if you are in the front of the plane though, as sometimes it can take 15 minutes just to get off the bird...
