I have been a CO One pass member since 1987. Been Elite for many of these years - gold now.

I have also been an AMEX credit card holder for the same time frame.

I got the blitz marketing campaign this past winter about getting the Presidential Plus credit card, and get like 60,000 miles or something like that. And a refund of most of the first year's fee.

Given what's happening with AMEX and CO, I cave in. I get the card in February. I wait for miles. They don't come. I call, and am told "it takes a while". I wait some more. I call again - "next statement". I call again this week and am told "we need the promo code from the offer you responded to"!

...! I tossed that in the trash in February! Their response - too bad. Speak to manager - she can't override - too bad for me!

I will be cancelling this card ASAP! Spending history averages $10K PER MONTH since I've had it, and they know it.
