What type of place are you looking for? Loden's area will generally be quite a bit quieter than either St. Regis or Opus (especially). More convenient to see Stanley Park. All of them are pretty close to various skytrain/Canada Line stations if you want to get around.

All of the places are close to good eating spots - some classy and good but pricey, others good and (relatively) cheap but without the ambience. One of my favourite sushi places is not that far away from Opus but not in "Yaletown" - tables, etc... look crappy but very tasty and prices reasonable.

Loden might be 5 minutes from the Burrard SkyTrain station which takes you to Main Street/Science World (the station nearest to the train station - very close. Go outside the main door and angle left for maybe 200 meters -impossible to miss)
