How much are we talking here for MEL>Westin
$75 is typical (taxi would be $60-65). Most limos take credit card, sometimes requiring prior arrangement. Taxis in Australia have a quaint system called "Cabcharge" which is a separate company that does billing for taxis, and charges a huge fee (10%+) if not paying by cash (so limo is almost the same price, for a much nicer ride). My biggest peeve about taxis in Australia is that most are dual-fuel, so most of the luggage space is taken with the gas tank; while most limos are not, and have a nice big "boot" for your bags. But SYD/MEL has "Maxi taxis" which cost the same as a regular taxi and are a big van, so much roomier (maybe better than a limo with kids and a lot of bags). Limos usually use a Chrysler 300 or smaller, to give some context.
