Hopefully she made it and it's all academic now, but were I in that situation, I would have been asked to at least be waitlisted for F on the later ORDFRA -- even if it was F0, because with all those cancellations you never know if a seat will come open thanks to misconnect.

A little surprised that the GRR agent would be so lame, even moreso that 1K phone res couldn't help, but I'm fairly confident that the Int'l F/GS ORD special check-in folks would have done their best given what they had to work with
