Hi,

I know it's incredibly late to be booking, but my parents have decided they would like to join me for a short 7-10 day trip in August. I am looking for a hotel/interesting location combination to book. Only requirement is beach and sun, interesting place would be a plus. Disregard Spain, South of France, Corsica, Sardinia, Amalfi Coast, Montenegro, Croatia, Greek Isles as either have been there very recently, will be there this summer or the desired hotels are already fully booked for our dates.

Some ideas I had were Ukraine, Beirut, Bodrum, Cyprus. I don't know if there are any GREAT hotels here. In another thread, someone suggested Azerbaijan and other parts of central Asia. Open to any and all suggestions as long as there is a truly great hotel (they are very picky), interesting cultural things to do, and ideally good nightlife. Thanks!
