At long last there is a reason to use SYD rather than MEL. That of course assumes you only need an airport rather than the near by city. Wow, SYD has taxi, bus, train and pedestrian access to the city. Cycle access as well (in theory) unless you can cope with taxi drivers who are better at trying to kill you through their (lack of) driving skills. They put the kill in skill.
