my 2pence... I grew up first of all in Seychelles and then in Zimbabwe (eastern highlands for those that know and love Zimbo). Fond memories of jumping on the 74 at HRE and headed home to my extended family in GCI.

After a 4 hr drive in the sweltering heat, and a 2 hr lineup to get through the airport, when finally boarding the aircraft at HRE, and getting to the seat, to be met with classical music, cool air cond, smiling/helpful crew, it was like I was already back home... plus I am a bit of an old fashioned believer in Britishness..

I'm sat in the LHR Radisson at the moment in between flights, off to NAS tomorrow am on the 767, back on monday via MIA.. wouldn't consider returning on VS.. yes I have OW 'status' but even if i didn't.. wouldnt change my view. If BA fly there, and I need to go, I'm on the metal with the Union flag ^
